November meetings

All of the November meetings are listed below under "older posts". Please be sure to check these dates for all of the activities going on this month.

December 9, 2009 Wed at theMoose Lodge

At this meeting we will be working on the family life eagle merit badge and we will start to build shelves and organize the meeting room.

December 10th money due for the klondike campout

Money is due for the Klondike campout at camp Butler on Jan 15-17.

Monday Dec 14, 2009 Natatorium

Please try to attend this meeting at the Natatorium, we are sitting in on the council meeting, this goes towards the communications merit badge. It's requirement #5 and this is an Eagle required badge.

December 23 and 27 No Meeting

Happy Holiday

January 6 wed and January 10 sun

We will meet at the Moose Lodge and work on the klondike sleds to get them ready for the campout on the 16th.

Jan. 15, 16 & 17 Klondike campout at Butler

This is the Klondike campout at camp Butler. Early registration is Dec 10th the cost is $15.00 and after that date the cost is $20.00. There is a $5.00 fee for food and supplies.

Jan 20 & 24, 2010 Meeting at Moose Lodge

Work on Meeting room, build shelves and organize a pantry for upcoming camping trips.

November 11 meeting at the Moose Lodge 6pm

At this meeting we will finish up Personal Management and also start Family Life (Eagle MB). If your going camping on the 14th the money is due at this meeting. Please let Aaron know by the 10th if you are camping. We will also discuss the demonstration cooking at Kamper city on the 21st.

Camp out November 14 at Camp Ynoah

We will be staying at a cabin at Camp Ynoah located in Green. The cost is $20.00 per person. We will be cooking a Thanksgiving Dinner. There will be a $10.00 prize for the best side dish made. So dig out the old family recipes, like green jello with Sardines. All food will be prepared at camp and require some type of cooking (No prepared dish from home will be judged). We will meet at the Moose Lodge by 8:30am on Saturday, November 14. This is a one night campout.

Kamper City on Sat, November 21st

Kamper City has asked if we would do a cooking demonstration with dutch ovens, grills and camp chef products. The demo will at 10:00am to 3:00pm. Kamper City is very supportive of our troop and it will be nice to help them out. We can make plans at the campout on Nov 14 and sign up for different times for the demonstration.

November 25 Kalahari trip information

There is no meeting, but this is the deadline for the Kalahari trip. Kalahari must have full payment before you can go. The total one day trip will cost $45.00 ($24.00 for the swim pass, $5.00 for lunch, $3.50 for the candy bar, and $12.50 for dinner. You must have payment of $36.50 by Nov. 25.
For dinner we will leave Kalahari and go to Ryan's Buffet (1 mile away). This is a all you can eat steak and shrimp plus other food for the $12.50 included in the $45.00 fee. We will then go back to Kalahari until 10pm.

Kalahari, Saturday Dec. 5

We will meet at the Moose Lodge at 8:00 am and we will leave at 8:30 am to be at Kalahari by 10 am.
